Cooling Roll Production:

Cooling rollers are rollers that are fed with cooling water when calendered films or adhesive tapes are coated, in order to reduce the deformation caused by the shrinkage of the hot material when it is cooled down during the roll forming process, the material is cooled down by passing the material through the cooling roll before the roll is formed to minimize the deformation of the material. Cooling rollers are rollers located behind the web drying unit and are used to reduce the temperature of the web to the curing temperature of the heat-setting ink.

Cooling Roll Features:

The internal structure of the cooling roller is one of the key factors in determining its cooling effect and service life. The internal structure of the cooling roller mainly includes the roller body, pipes, nozzles, cooling medium and other parts. Roller body is the main part of the cooling roller, usually made of cast iron or steel plate welding. There are a series of pipes inside the roller body, used to transport the cooling medium.Nozzle is the cooling medium sprayed on the surface of the roll body parts, usually made of copper or stainless steel. Cooling medium is one of the most important parts of the internal structure of the cooling roller, usually using water or water solution. The cooling effect of water is good, but easy to corrode the roll body, so usually add corrosion inhibitor water solution as the cooling medium.
